Our clients say...
WVA Design responded with enthusiasm and insight to the challenge of redesigning of our existing home. The ability to listen to our ideas before suggesting options was invaluable and particularly important because this project had to blend into the existing landscape.
We had no hesitation using WVA Design again in the subsequent design of an adjoining house too. We experienced the same high level of professionalism, flexibility and talent.
In both cases we were delighted with the outcome and do not hesitate in recommending WVA.
Over the past two decades WVA has designed two houses for us including the transformation of this historic house in Epping.
With great conceptual ability, WVA helped us realise our brief to redevelop our historic house in Epping and make it work for our family for the next 20 years while retaining its historic character. William demonstrated meticulous attention to detail, and with great patience and empathy the end result is that our listed historic house is a joy to live in.
Eight years on we are still enjoying our house that WVA has designed.
WVA designed our family home in Terrigal. William clearly understood our needs and life style, delivering the outcome with creativity and knowledge. Every detail was well thought out and discussed beforehand and the final design surpassed our expectations.
I have worked with William Vazquez from WVA Design since the early 1990's. As Managing Director of the Broadview Group, we engaged WVA to provide architectural and planning services for a number of projects, these included Residential and Commercial projects, mainly in the education sector.
I have found that William and his company are easy to work with as he is extremely client and project focused with innovative ideas that are practical and workable, demonstrating lateral thinking with budgets in mind which is rare in the architectural world.
I have also found that William is an honest and reliable person who has immense integrity and would have no hesitation in recommending him and his company for suitable projects.
Over the past decade WVA has designed two houses. They helped us to design this award winning holiday house at Avoca Beach. William took into account our wishes to have an easy house near the beach and designed a home that takes advantage of the natural light and panoramic views that the site affords, while providing an easy living design on this difficult site. They also helped us to select a local builder and manage the job for us.
We have engaged WVA design on two occasions for two different projects - a major house renovation and a new house on an acreage. In this last project, WVA came up with a wonderful design that provided all that we were wanting, and now that we have lived in the house we truly appreciate the value of a proper design.
We have engaged WVA Design for two projects - a house and a minor retirement village.
In both instances WVA listened to what we wanted and provided options that revolved around our brief rather than give to us something completely different to the brief.

Meet the owner...
William is the director at WVA Design and has extensive experience. He graduated as an architect from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the National University of Cordoba, Argentina and then worked there for several years as an architect, running his own practice and collaborating with other local architecture firms. He relocated to Australia with his family in 1986 and has since worked with several major Australian architectural practices including EMTB, Lend Lease Design, Ted Alexander Architects, Group GSA and SBA Architects.
Over a career spanning more than 30 years, William has designed industrial, commercial, retail, aged care, retirement villages, single residential properties and units. The technical aspects of design are second nature now, so what sets William apart is his ability to keep the client involved all the way through a project. He loves to tailor the look and feel to the owner and their lifestyle, often personalising in ways they couldn't imagine.
